  • Two years of college and my first 5 years of work experience qualified me under the Office of Personnel Management requirements for the Land Surveying Series, 1373. This series qualification is required in order to perform Federal Land surveys.
  • I entered the professional series, Land Surveyor GS 1373 in 1979; promoted to a GS-09 position in 1981 and achieved journeyman level GS-11 in 1982.
